Friedrichshafen, May 11, 2010. The Nahas Enterprises Group from Syria and Dornier Consulting have decided to work together as a partnership in the future. A respective document was signed in the Berlin Office of Dornier Consulting.
The main objective of this partnership is to support the sustainable development of Syria through joint consulting and engineering projects in the areas of transport, infrastructure and the environment / water. Ideally, both parties would be working closely with the Syrian government. At this point, the next step planned is for Dornier Consulting to further develop the local engineers from the Nahas Group through a knowledge transfer.
The Nahas Enterprises Group, headed by owner Saeb Nahas (pictured left, with Dornier Consultings CEO Dr. Jürgen R. Koffler) is one of the largest companies in Syria, with over 30 companies in various business fields. As an organization that operates in multiple areas, Nahas is planning to strengthen its commercial activities in the areas of transport, infrastructure and the environment / water. Nahas has the ability to implement extensive resources, capabilities and expertise for projects by working in cooperation with Dornier Consulting in Syria and its neighboring countries.
Syria is investing heavily in infrastructure and the logistics sector to improve its profile as a hub for trade and business with the Arab world and Asia. Dornier Consulting is willing to put forward all of the skills, references and regional experience that their new partner needs to succeed.
