Dornier Consulting – Infrastructure services for real estate, aviation, mobility and water
The history of Dornier Consulting International GmbH is very closely linked with its founder, Claude Dornier (1884-1969), who decisively shaped the aviation industry in Germany until the middle of the 20th century, in particular with the development and construction of the Dornier Wal and Do X flying boats. The company’s roots are therefore anchored in flying.
Having initially concentrated on complex aerospace engineering tasks and the related project management, Dornier Consulting added the planning and realization of investments and organization projects in the real estate, aviation, mobility and water sectors to its portfolio.
Dornier Consulting has expanded internationally since 2002, opening branch offices in Abu Dhabi, Amman, Kiev and Nur-Sultan, as well as nationally with its acquisition of Stuttgart-based wpm (formerly Weidleplan) in 2005.
In 2015 the national companies all merged to form the current Dornier Consulting, a technically broad and globally operating project management and consulting company for real estate, aviation, mobility and water, uniting these lines of business and the associated expertise under one roof.
Since 2019 Dornier Consulting has also become an important part of the Dornier Group, which, as a global infrastructure service provider, brings together the following five companies, thus adding the Construction, Operation, Renewable Energies, Energy & Environment and Nuclear Services business line to DCI’s comprehensive portfolio of consulting services:
- Conwico GmbH
- Encotec Energy (India) Pvt. Ltd.
- Suntrace GmbH
- VPC GmbH
- VPC Nukleare Dienstleistungen GmbH
