As part of this project, Dornier is supporting the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), the operator of Toronto Pearson International Airport, in establishing a Young Professionals Program. The aim is to strengthen the airport-wide talent base and prepare the next generation of leaders for the demands of an evolving aviation industry. The program is being developed through a structured co-creation process that reflects GTAA’s culture and its long-term workforce goals.

The development is iterative and carried out in close coordination with GTAA’s HR and strategy departments, operational departments, stakeholders and senior management. Dornier is working with Cormis Partners, a London-based executive search and leadership advisory firm specialising in capital-intensive sectors such as aviation. As a member of the ACI World Business Partner Network, Dornier also brings experience from their active role in developing the ACI World Young Professionals Program.

The program combines personal development, mentoring by experienced leaders, cross-functional projects linked to GTAA’s strategic priorities, and the building of an airport-wide YP network. A twelve-month rollout is planned, followed by an expansion to 24 months that will involve external partners from the wider aviation ecosystem.
